Georg and Amalia, sales staff at Maraczek's, are at odds on the job but are unknowingly to the other are romantic penpals (who haven't met in person yet) thanks to a lonely hearts ad.  They story ends with the two realizing they are each other's "dear friend" and their animosity had actually been love in disguise.
